File consists of an autograph letter from Abraham to 'Henderson', describing an 8-day journey across the northern United States and Canada, made in order to undertake research into purchasing of the Montreal Gazette newspaper.

File contains the architectural drawing of James McGill's house in Old Montreal. Drawing of facade and all three floors featured.

One compiled volume of letters and diary entries written by nurses stationed in Petrograd and France, as well as army officers.

File contains manuscript (incomplete) by Captain George Vancouver, with correspondence from Henri Masson. The manuscript is titled, "Abridgement of part of a Voyage of Discovery round the World by Captain Vancouver Performed in the years 1790, 1791, 1792, 1793, & 1794 by order of his Majesty Regarding the North West Coast of America." Apparently copied by Duncan McGillivray, whose initials appear at the bottom of the Memorandum (page 2). This document is comprised of extracts of the original work titled, "A voyage of discovery to the North Pacific Ocean and round the world," published in 1798.

File consists of documents and a letter concerning support for the union of Upper and Lower Canada. Included are: a draft of a letter from the Seigneuries of Terrebonne, Mille Isles, Argenteuil and the Township of Chatham, to the committee in Montreal regarding pre-union petition; a copy of the petition in favor of the union of the provinces, from the counties of Effingham, York, Chatham and Argenteuil (this possibly accompanied the above described letter); a letter from G(eorge) Moffatt to unknown recipient giving his opinion on the wording of the petition; a draft of a section of the petition; another draft of the petition, from the county of Effingham (probably incomplete); and a printed document titled, "A Bill for Re-uniting the Provinces of Upper and Lower Canada, and for the Government of the United Province. Ordered by the House of Commons."

File includes a letter from Isaac Todd to Mackenzie, Oldham & Co. Todd relays the request from Mr. Morrogh to send a bill for a shipment received in June of 500 barrels.
