Contract containing the conditions of sale for a plot of land in Coteau St. Louis by Etienne Brazeau, master mason, to Charles J. Morrison, Ann [Susanne] Morrison, and James Morrison on behalf of his minor daughters Charlotte and Harriet Morrison. Brazeau was unable to sign, so affixed his mark instead. Witnessed by Ignace Cliche.
Fonds consists of an album of autograph letters and signatures, including letters both to and from Nichols. Correspondents include John Temple (26 November 1821) and Charles Burney Jr. (5 January 1809). Also represented in the fonds are Nichols's children John Bowyer Nichols (1779-1863) and John Gough Nichols (1806-1873), including a letter to John Gough Nichols from Sir Henry Ellis (2 December 1842).
File contains manuscript (incomplete) by Captain George Vancouver, with correspondence from Henri Masson. The manuscript is titled, "Abridgement of part of a Voyage of Discovery round the World by Captain Vancouver Performed in the years 1790, 1791, 1792, 1793, & 1794 by order of his Majesty Regarding the North West Coast of America." Apparently copied by Duncan McGillivray, whose initials appear at the bottom of the Memorandum (page 2). This document is comprised of extracts of the original work titled, "A voyage of discovery to the North Pacific Ocean and round the world," published in 1798.

Letter from Henry Juncken to his sister, Christina Barbara Hall, written on two dates, 24 November 1798 and 4 December 1798. Includes a note from Hall's son dated 4 December 1798.
File consists of manuscript leaves previously bound with MSG 432-4, a letter book of correspondence signed alternately William Grant, William Grant & Co., Grant & Laframboise, or C. Laframboise. Leaves are of laid paper written in a variety of hands. Addressees of letters include Augustin Choteau, Stanbridge & Tagg, Brickwood & Daniell, John Blackwood, and McTavish, Fraser, & Co. Some letters include goods (for example, types of furs) and calculations. Dates of letters range from August 1798 to March 1800.
