The dimensions of the stepped exterior wall were derived from the daily angles of the sun. All of Expo's six administrative departments as well as news services from the five continents were housed on site. Features rectangular, stepped wall elevations on an "S" plan; reinforced concrete with long span stell joists and beams; anodized aluminum curtain walls with stucco (S: 890' long, 85' wide (S plan) --- A: 66,000 sq. ft.
