Letter to William Osler, April 3, 1908
Item
Letter to William Osler from William James, 95, Irving Street, Cambridge, England. Thanks for his letter. Mentions that he is in a state of bad nervous fatigue. He is explaining that to be lionized at Oxford terrorized him. Warns him not to invite his London M.D. to meet him. Considering his state of mind, he will be only good for a few intimate talks with old and new Oxford friends. Declines his offer to stay at his house, Principal Carpenter will look after him. Civilities.
Good condition.
