Item
1 sheet
Charles Léonard Lepallieur was born on 4 June 1766, the son of Charles Lepallieur and Louise Roy. He decided to embark on a career as a fur trader in 1790, heading out to Michilimackinac, and later to the north-eastern United States. Though he initially had very poor luck with his business, he eventually found some success.
A second letter from Chs L. LePallieur to James Morrison, proposing that he send the furs he obtained to be sold by Morrison, and asking Morrison to pay the bearer of the letter from LePallieur's portion of his mother's estate.
