The fonds consists chiefly of student notebooks kept by F. Clarke Fraser while an undergraduate at Acadia University during the late 1930s-1940. They represent a variety of subjects, including zoology, physics, mathematics, and biology. Two notebooks date from his Med IV year (1949-1950) at McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine, one with ophthalmology lab and clinical notes and reading and lecture notes, and one an obstetrical diary from the Montreal Maternity Hospital. Also included is a later reprint of an article (published 1957), loose notes, and a photograph of F. Clarke Fraser and a companion dining at the Montreal restaurant Au lutin qui bouffe, famous for its resident piglet, which restaurant-goers were often photographed holding and feeding.
Fonds contains five notebook kept by medical student S. J. Bennett while studying at McGill University's Faculty of Medicine. Each notebook is devoted to a subject of study, including one notebook each labelled "Medicine", "Bacteriology" and "Obstetrics" and two notebooks labelled "Pathology." The notes inside are dated between 1907 and 1908. The notes are organized in some cases by instructor and in some cases according to medical conditions.
The Sir William Osler Collection, distinct from the Bibliotheca, is an extensive archival holding of Osler's correspondence (including eighteen hundred original letters), daybooks, accounts, engagement books, legal documents, book invoices, membership certificates, notebooks, lectures, addresses, newspaper clippings, photographs, books with manuscript additions, and miscellaneous loose items formerly inserted into individual books in his library. The collection also contains various family papers, including correspondence of Lady Grace Revere Osler and Edward Revere Osler.
Fonds contains a casebook by Mrs. J.A. Parks who received training at the Montreal Maternity Hospital from 1 March to 30 May 1888. The fonds includes the casebook, a letter of certification of attendance at lectures and a certified copy of registration of marriage.
Fonds shows A. R. Prendergast's 1902 work in histology course given by Professor George Wilkins and his Lecturer N.D. Gunn. It contains a histological sketching book with coloured pencil drawings from Prendergast.

A newspaper clipping from the Chronicle: “The Kaiser and the Lusitania: Torpedoed against his wishes,” August 13, 1917; inventory from the Imperial War Museum of “The Papers of Mrs. G. S. Prichard” (mother to Prichard) relating to the correspondence between Mrs. Prichard and survivors of the Lusitania in search for news of her son during the sinking; Royal Bank of Canada Pass Book from Ewing, Alberta with records of Prichard’s cheque book activities from 1912-1914; a letter detailing investments (on McGill letterhead) dated January 22, 1914, is included inside the Royal Bank Pass Book.
Fonds contains lecture notes taken by Robert Struthers at McGill Medical College in 1881-1882, including notes on Pathology, Surgery and Ophthalmology. The fonds consists of notebooks, a photocopy of his MS McGill medical thesis, letters from his personal and professional life, one of his medical kits, receipts from merchants, various subscriptions, societies and clubs. The fonds also contains various reprints of Bell's articles, including the 1878 article, "Case of Diphtheria, Acute Laryngeal Symptoms", as well as the City of Montreal's "Mortality of Montreal" – a list of all deaths in Montreal in January 1878.
