Notebook bound in contemporary vellum with printed bookplate of Alexis Eliahim Poisson; also bears signature of a “Dr. Frémont” and date Gentilly, 1845. Appears to be in at least two different handwritings, indicating Poisson may have added to the notebook that originally belonged to Dr. Frémont. The medical terminology is accompanied by descriptions of the methods of treatment, and pharmaceutical products indicate what illness they are being used for
