The fonds contains one prescription book of Dr. Robert Todd Reynolds, with some clippings of medical drawings in the back; 3 pages of the Reynolds' family genealogy record and one page of an article "The Ancestral Roof: Domestic Architecture in Upper Canada" and a photo of the house, indicating the relationship between James McGill des Rivières and the Reynolds family; 4 of R. T. Reynolds' Diplomas, one from McGill.

The fonds is divided into series, following the provenance and arrangement of the depositor as much as possible. Among the principal series are: President's binders or files, Secretary's binders or files, CHLA/ABSC special reports, and CHLA/ABSC publications. Within the series are found sub-series, i.e. President's binder, correspondence. The organization of the binders revolves around the Board Meetings, which occur three times a year, in June, October and February. At this time, reports are presented and decisions acted upon. Addenda to the Board Minutes frequently exceed 10 items. The fiscal year is from June 1 to May 31.

Fonds consists of the personal and professional papers of Louis and Irene Kon including extensive correspondence between the Kon family. Included are materials relating to the founding of the Norman Bethune Foundation and Bethune memorials; the making of Ted Allan's movie, "Making of a Hero", including the conflict with Syd Gordon regarding creative differences; a manuscript draft and notes on Larry Stephenson's manuscript 'Two Petrals.'

The fonds contains materials that Dr. M. Entin collected for his biography of Dr. Archibald. Mainly include articles relate to tuberculosis, pancreatitis, wound healing, history of surgery, and scientific writing. It also includes letters from Edward Archibald to Mrs. Archibald, letters to Archibald from William Osler and Sir Henry Gray, addenda of Archibald's world journey in 1936, and articles by Archibald.

Some draft chapters of the biography of Dr. Archibald and research data for 100th Anniversary of Royal Victoria Hospital can also be found in the fonds.

The fonds contains the manuscript of his book William Osler : A Life in Medicine.

The collection consists of various documents, photographs, and audio and video recordings generated by the official activities of the Bethune Foundation; also included are documents, publications and photographs related to Dr. Bethune and to China or Chinese medicine, pamphlets, posters, and Bethune Foundation newsletters.

The Penfield fonds consists of over eighty metres of Penfield's personal and professional records dating from his childhood up until his death in 1976, including during his career at the Montreal Neurological Institute. The materials in the fonds include photographs, correspondence, manuscripts and drafts of publications and speeches, research notes, glass slides, bound reports, films, and academic gowns.

The fonds consists of Dr. Bensley's research notes and correspondence, particularly in relation to his publication McGill Medical Luminaries.

The fonds largely document Dr. Segall's professional activities as a cardiologist. It contains correspondence, notes, experimental notebooks, lecture notes, articles, speeches, patients' records, electrocardiograms, reprints and material pertaining to the Louis Gross Memorial Lectures, 1922-1979. Also included are several electrocardiograph machines, dictation devices, and audio recordings (reel-to-reel tapes, dictation disks, and cassette tapes). In addition, the fonds contain records of Dr. Segall's personal and family correspondence, financial transactions, and various other official and unofficial documents.

The fonds contains Margaret Gillett's source materials and drafts for her book Dear Grace, a Romance of History. The source materials include original letters from William C. Little to Grace Ritchie written between 1889-1893.
