This file contains addresses delivered at the Victory Convocation and ceremonies commemorating Founder's Day, 1945, as well as presentation of honorary degree recipients. Speakers include D.C. Abbott (Minister of National Defence), General H.D.G. Crerar, Vice-Admiral G.C. Jones, Air Marshal Lloyd S. Breadner, Principal F. Cyril James, James Bryant Conant (President of Harvard University).

File consists of 7 bound volumes containing typescript transcripts of speeches given by Jean Drapeau during his first term as mayor, mostly with accompanying English translations. Contains some manuscript corrections in pencil. Examples of subjects covered include civil international aviation, communism, public morality, obscenity in publications, economic growth, Israeli independence, Canadian unity, democracy, and civic spirit.

Fonds consists of manuscript essays spanning the years 1847-1903. They comprise his inaugural lecture on pericarditis, reminiscences of early days of the Medical Faculty, several discussions of homoeopathy, and papers on vaccination, the registration of the causes of death and other topics. Eleven volumes of his manuscript lectures "On women's medical problems" are also included.

This file contains material related to Founder's Day celebrations. Including two addresses by Arthur Currie in 1933, addresses given at celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of James McGill (6 October 1944), and an invitation to the McGill University Founder's Festival 1864.
