        General note

In March 1943, Nobbs and Valentine proposed alterations for storm sash, doors and partitions. Second and third generation Rosenhek family sources have described this site as having included a 5-story brick building serving as department store, a yard and a family dwelling. The Woolworth Company occupied the first two floors with Rosenhek general store taking the upper floors. A yard separated this structure from the Rosenhek family home. Percy Nobbs is best remembered by this family for their shared passion for salmon fishing.
