Biographical history

Louis Theodore Marceau graduated in Medicine at McGill University in 1872. A native of Napierville, he practiced in that city. He was the vice-president of the Société Medico-Chirurgicale; the president eulogized him in 1891. He is buried in Napierville.

Custodial history

Presented to the Osler Library by Louis Marceau's niece Miss Irene Marceau, 24 November 1959. Old accession number 261.

Scope and content

Fonds contains Marceau's prescription book, alphabetically arranged for various diseases or complaints. Also contains one photograph.
