Biographical history

John Fair was a lawyer and notary born in approximately 1857 in Ontario. He moved to Montreal and worked as a notary, and was apartner in the firm Fair & Cameron Notaries, along with John Alexander Cameron. He also worked with William McLennan as McLennan & Fair and McLennan, Fair & Cameron. He married Louisa Margaret Rankin on 25 October 1893. He died sometime after 1921.
