Indian spot-billed duck (Anas poecilorhyncha)

Mounted painting of a brown duck with dark back and spotted neck, yellow beak, light and dark and green tail feathers, standing on flat rock by the water with reeds and plants. Inscription in lower right corner reads, "Anas" with another faint inscription, "The male and female are both?"

The lower painting also includes some illegible pencil notes in the bottom left, probably relating to the measurements of the bird.
