Series consists of five subseries: P125/B1 Officers, P125/B2 Board of Governors Meetings, P125/B3 Standing Committees, P125/B4 Ad Hoc Committees, P125/B5 Reports. Includes agenda, minutes, related documents, correspondence, drafts, reports, statements of receipts and disbursements, lists of officers, lists of attendees, posters and proposals.

Chronological files

This series consists of correspondence between Thesen and other poets, writers, professors, and personal acquaintances from 1972-1989. The letters range from business to personal matters. The records feature correspondence from prominent writers like Michael Ondaatje, Phyllis Webb, Judith Fitzgerald, Ken Norris, etc. Within the letters are poems, articles, newspaper clippings, and various other items.

Correspondence

This series contains Hellmuth Wolff’s correspondence files. Subseries i contains correspondence between Wolff and various organ builders in English, French and German, primarily related to Wolff’s editorial work for the for the International Society of Organbuilders’ ISO Yearbook 1993, which spanned four years from 1992-1996. Subseries ii contains workshop documents, including opus lists.

Non-fiction

This series consists of textual documents related to Stephen Scobie’s non-fiction published materials. This includes drafts of his essay on Gertrude Stein, drafts of his book Amorce: The Always Already including notes and drafts and typescripts of his book on bpNichol. The series also includes various drafts of his book on Leonard Cohen some of which include editor’s notes and comments. There is some correspondence and drafts related to a number of miscellaneous critical writings including correspondence and agreements with various publishers. The Leonard Cohen material includes incoming and outgoing correspondence of Scobie with his publishers. The Cohen correspondence files are a mixture of handwritten and typed and include royalty agreements, book sale receipts and book reviews. The series is mostly located in Container 2, with some files in Container 1.

Creative Work

This series mainly contains poetry written by Judith Fitzgerald, but also includes other work by her such as books she has edited, play scripts, and short stories. The files include drafts, annotated manuscripts, and copies of her published work. Notably, this series contains manuscripts and published copies of Rapturous Chronicles, Habit of Blues, and Given Names. This series is mostly located in Container 3, 6, and 7, with some files in Container 4 and 5. Some files in Series 1 and 5 also contain creative work (please see the file descriptions).

Correspondence

This series consists of personal correspondence between Farkas and other artists/poets. Both electronic and handwritten mail are present in the files.

Inuktitut language instruction cassettes

Series consists of audiocassettes and textbooks of beginner level Inuktitut language lessons. Included in the series is the textbook "Innutitut Kuujjuamiutitut (Fort Chimo dialect)," by C.D. Ellis and J. Patridge, and the corresponding audio cassettes; these comprise a course created for research and field personnel who plan to work in Arctic Quebec. Course instruction covers the Fort Chimo [now Kuujjuaq] dialect, and is an adaptation of S.T. Mallon’s Inuktitut publications; audiocassette lessons follow the textbook edition revised in 1977 with the collaboration of M. Aitchison, and published by the McGill University Centre for Northern Studies and Research in 1978. 5 master audiocassettes, recorded on both sides, contain complete lesson audio. 10 student audio cassettes, recorded on side A only, contain duplicates of master recordings. Also included in series is an introductory level textbook of Inuktitut as spoken in the Frobisher Bay [now Nunavik] region: "Inuktitut Phase One," by S.T. Mallon & Staff [of] Inuktitut Learning Services, Frobisher Bay N.W.T. (1974-1977), published by the Department of Education, Northwest Territories.
