The file contains correspondence primarily related to the proximity of the Stadium to the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI) and the Royal Victoria Hospital, and the issues this creates. Of note is the letters from staff and from Wilder Penfield to the Comptroller requesting that either events end early or the entrance to the stadium be moved to prevent disturbances to the patients. In addition, there is correspondence about the purchasing procedures for the MNI and a set of correspondence from H.H. Jasper to Dobell about laboratory equipment, university pension plan for staff, appointing Mr. Bain as Business Manager of the MNI, expenditures and the collection of patients’ outstanding accounts.

The file contains correspondence related to the activities of the Comptroller, such as grants/funds expenses, overhead allowances and the fellowship held by Dr. Orbach in connection to the National Research Council of the United States.
