Fonds shows H.R. Griffith's papers and records pertaining to his introduction of the homeopathic remedy curare into anesthesia. The fonds contains correspondence, case records, and reprints, as well as the minute book of the Montreal Homoeopathic Association, 1863-1968.

The fonds largely document Dr. Segall's professional activities as a cardiologist. It contains correspondence, notes, experimental notebooks, lecture notes, articles, speeches, patients' records, electrocardiograms, reprints and material pertaining to the Louis Gross Memorial Lectures, 1922-1979. Also included are several electrocardiograph machines, dictation devices, and audio recordings (reel-to-reel tapes, dictation disks, and cassette tapes). In addition, the fonds contain records of Dr. Segall's personal and family correspondence, financial transactions, and various other official and unofficial documents.

Fonds consists principally of one three-ring loose leaf holograph notebook written in pencil and ink. The notebook details cases that Morton worked on during the period of February to May, 1935, while at Guy’s Hospital in London. Fonds also includes a letter from real estate broker William E. Speed to Capt. W. B. Holms concerning a property rented to the Mortons; single blank leaf with letterhead of C. S. Morton (Harry Stafford Morton’s father); New Year’s card from Earle C. Phinney; and newspaper clipping of editorial by Sir William Osler, “Promethean Gift of the Century Physical Suffering Diminished.”

Fonds shows Herbert Frederick Moseley's relations with his editor for his book "Shoulder Lesions". It contains an original manuscript with the publisher's annotations for the 1945 edition and another complete copy.

The collection consists of documents pertaining to Dr. H. S. Birkett's medical activities, including 117 bound volumes of patient records (1889-1942), medical notebooks (1893-1896), bound RVH reports (1894-1938), RVH charts (1901-1920) and registers (1899-1917). There are also various letters addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Birkett, a manuscript, newspaper clippings, various degrees and medical association certificates, as well as photographs of H. S. Birkett's personal life and professional life at McGill and elsewhere. The collection also includes various artifacts collected by H. S. B, including military and medical memorabilia collected by H. S. Birkett.

Fonds documents Dr. H.E. MacDermot's medical-historical activities. The fonds contains newspaper clippings, manuscript notes, photographs, lectures notes, and a draft of The MGH, the Years of Change.

Fonds consists of chiefly correspondence of or about Dr. John Clarence Webster, from 1892 to 1952. It also contains his medical thesis from 1891, "Tubo-pentoneal ectopic gestation. The anatomy of the pelvis during the puerperium, and the female pelvic floor,"with accompanying 2 bound volumes of watercolour plates.

Fonds contains various certificates and awards received by Browne; photographs and slides; two official portraits; letters of Ms. W. Browne (sister) regarding Browne; Last Will and Testament; The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony VHS, and newspaper clippings.

Fonds documents Dr. J.C. Meakins' professional activities.

The fonds consists of professional correspondence between J. G. Stratford and colleagues from the MGH, Montreal Neurological Institute, University of Saskatchewan, and the Osler Society. It also includes personal research material on pain (the causes and treatments), original drafts of his various publications (1953-2007), Montreal General Hospital daily journals (1966-1998), and some patient files (1943-1972, file 33). Stratford's bachelors, masters, and medical degrees from McGill University, as well as various professional certificates awarded to Stratford throughout his career are included in the fonds. Additional items include portraits and group photographs from the Neurological Department at Saskatchewan and the Montreal Neurological Institute, several brain scan prints, architectural blueprints of the Montreal General Hospital and Montreal Neurological Institute, as well as letters between Joseph & Aurelie Stratford and their close friends, Wilder & Helen Penfield.
