    Arrangement

In April 1998, two boxes containing H. E. MacDermont papers were found in the Osler Library cataloguing room. It was decided to merge these with the collection of personal papers already in the library's possession under accession number 546. Archivists set up a classification plan and did a preliminary treatment. Several papers related to the Board of Curators of the Osler Library were not kept: minutes of the meeting of the Board of Curators and notices of a meeting. These were minutes of a meeting to which MacDermont was absent. The information can be found in Osler Library Fonds.
