File consists of original correspondence with Abraham de Sola, including communications with The Natural History Society and the Numismatic and Antiquarian Society of Montreal, Principal William Dawson of McGill University, and references to de Sola's opening of the U.S. Congress. Also included are Aaron David Meldola de Sola's examination booklet from the High School Department of McGill University, Session 1869-1870, pamphlets, financial records from the "School for Young Ladies, conducted by Miss Symmers and Miss Smith," and correspondence from various associations and societies.
