Arrangement

The fonds is arranged into series based on the family members whose records are represented. Within each series, files are arranged generally in chronological order, then thematically for undated or miscellaneous materials, with the exception of series 2. Series 2 Sir William Dawson contains four subseries: 1) Scientific writings and correspondence, 2) Education administration, 3) Religious activities, and 4) Personal correspondence and biographical writing.
