General note

This series of Personal Correspondence, D-C/D, is a continuation of the series C/D. To avoid confusion the files of this series have been numbered as if they were a continuation of the C/D series, thus beginning with D-C/D 21. The D- prefix is used simply to indicate that the papers were originally kept by Dr. Penfield's home instead of his office.
