This file contains business and personal correspondence between James Morrison and other merchants and traders in Quebec, Ontario, and the United Stated, for the period of 1781-1789. Letters primarily concern the trading and price of goods including wheat, rum, sugar, molasses, and other food and household goods. They also include some personal news from family members and political news about the American Revolution. Also includes a letter commissioning Caleb Green to establish a post office with information about the benefits and responsibilities of his position. Letters are arranged in chronological order.
