Biographical history
Born in Montreal, William H. Pugsley obtained his B.Com. in 1934 and Ph.D. in 1950 from McGill, and an M.B.A. in 1936 from Harvard. He was Assistant Professor of management from 1954 to 1960, Associate Professor from 1960 to 1970, Professor of management from 1970 to 1980. Professor Emeritus since 1981, is the author of Canadian Business Organization and Management (1965), among other works.
