Biographical history
Born in Perth, Ontario, William Bell Malloch was a medical doctor employed by the Hudson's Bay Company from 1869 to 1878. Although stationed at Moose Factory he made trips to other posts whenever his medical expertise was required. Malloch received his M.D.,C.M. from McGill in 1867.

Scope and content
Fonds documents William B. Malloch's activities as a medical student at McGill and the links he kept with his alma mater, 1863-1870. The fonds contains admission cards, programmes, certificates, examination copies, newspaper clippings and an indenture of apprenticeship.
