Letter to W.H. Howell from William Osler, The Johns Hopkins Medical School, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Osler leaves for Boston to deliver a lecture on Science and Immortality written by Welch. He writes of affairs regarding the Johns Hopkins: he would like to arrange a pay-raise for Futcher; he would like to promote Cole, Brown and Hamburger to the rank of Associates; and he would like McCrae to be considered for a position in Therapeutics.
