Scope and content

Letter to William Osler from Adolf Meyer, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Due to some schedule restriction from Kraepelin who can only be there if he leaves for Europe on the 19th of April, he is asking him to arrange to give the address for the opening of the Phipps Psychiatric Clinic before his Yale lectures. The public opening ceremony would be on April 16th. Details on the schedule of the events. Lists of the people who have sent their acceptances. Hopes Osler could arrange to fit his plan. If not, they will have to sacrifice Kraepelin, whom Phipps would like to be present. The opening then would be deferred until about May 1st, and the other persons might have to drop out on account of their university duties. Civilities.
