    Biographical history

    Thomas W. Reynolds was born 1858 in Brockville, Ontario. He was the second son of a Dr. Thomas Reynolds, also of Brockville. Thomas W. Reynolds was a medical student at McGill University from 1877-1881. He died in Brockville in 1902 at the age of 44 of pulmonary tuberculosis. Dr. Osler was the presiding physician.

    Custodial history

    Fonds given to the Osler Library by Reynolds’ daughter, Mrs. James L. James of Brockville, Ontario, November 19, 1974. Old accession number 501.

    Scope and content

    Fonds shows Thomas W. Reynolds' activities as a medical student through his admission tickets for his complete medical formation. It contains 39 admission cards signed by or printed for the teachers, among them William Osler.
