General note

Karen Smythe and Thomas Schyberg, were the architects for the residence of J. W. McConnell, Saran Chai in Val David, Quebec, 1929-1930. Also included in this group are blueprints by T.G. Anglin Engineering Co.,Limited for rebuilding plans after the 1951 destruction by fire, of the original 1929-1930 house. Gratton D. Thompson (1895- 1971) was the architect for Saran Chai in 1952.
