        Canadian geneticist and James McGill Professor in Human Genetics and Pediatrics at McGill University, Rima Rozen was born in the Soviet Union and moved to Montreal 1960. She did a degree in genetics at McGill's Department of Biology, later completing a PhD under the supervision of Charles Scriver. She joined the McGill Group in Medical Genetics during the mid-1980s to lend her expertise in molecular genetics.
