General note

One of John Schreiber's outstanding projects, carried out as a local consultant to the Sasaki firm of Watertown, Mass., for whom he had worked while studying landscape architecture under Hideo Sasaki at Harvard. Hotel entrance area and roof garden integrated Nordic planting scheme with water garden subtly based on Japanese prototypes. Maseo Kinoshita, partner in charge of Sasaki Dawson DeMay, Arcop architects (Ray Affleck, Eva Vescei). One of the most significant Canadian landscape projects of the 60's urban renaissance.
