    Administrative history

    The Osler Reporting Society of Montreal was founded in 1921 to present and discuss condensed reports of current medical literature.

    Custodial history

    Most of the records were a gift of the Department of the History of Medicine, 1970-1971 and of Dr. E. McGarry and Dr. Wexler of the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal, 16 July 1980, old accession number 478. The record books were given to the Osler Library by the Faculty of Medicine in October, 2013.

    Fonds contains the records of the Osler Reporting Society of Montreal from 1929 to 1972, including record books, correspondence, invoices, receipts, list of members, minutes, and constitution.
