Norris Giblin was born in Hobart, Tasmania in 1889. He studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh. He taught at McGill in the Department of Physiology after 1922, becoming a professor. In 1942-43, he aided Dr. Boris Babkin in the research of microcephalic sutures. He died in 1972 and is cremated at Mount Royal Cemetery.
5 notebooks donated by Dr. Norris Giblin’s son, Dr. Dennis Giblin, via McGill’s Medical Library, 14 February 1983 and 2 notebooks on Forensic medicine donated by Dr. William Feindel. Old accession number 844.
