Biographical history

The Liebich family consists of mother Irena (Irene) Liebich and daughter Flora Liebich.

Custodial history

The records were kept by the family until the donor transferred the records to the McGill University Archives.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of textual documents, a degree and a photograph relevant to the educational history of the Liebich family. The scope predominantly covers the period from 1960 to 1979, and includes Dr. Wilder Penfield's The Torch, a Masters of Social Work thesis, MNI choir music, MNI administrative records, student essays in Political Science and related course notes, and personal correspondence.

This fonds is divided into two series. The first series contains the personal papers and administrative records of Irene Liebich. The second series comprises the student papers and course work of Flora Liebich, along with personal correspondence and notes on poetry.
