Liebich Family Fonds
Fonds
0.3 m of textual records
1 degree
1 photograph
The Liebich family consists of mother Irena (Irene) Liebich and daughter Flora Liebich.
The records were kept by the family until the donor transferred the records to the McGill University Archives.
The fonds consists of textual documents, a degree and a photograph relevant to the educational history of the Liebich family. The scope predominantly covers the period from 1960 to 1979, and includes Dr. Wilder Penfield's The Torch, a Masters of Social Work thesis, MNI choir music, MNI administrative records, student essays in Political Science and related course notes, and personal correspondence.
This fonds is divided into two series. The first series contains the personal papers and administrative records of Irene Liebich. The second series comprises the student papers and course work of Flora Liebich, along with personal correspondence and notes on poetry.
Deposited by Flora Liebich, 21 July 2011
The fonds had a natural arrangement which was preserved. Some series had no formal title and a title was imposed by the archivist based upon the content of the series.
