The file contains a letter from Dorothy Jean Ross to Mr. John Andreassen, McGill Archivist. The letter asks him to deposit in the McGill Archives a photograph of her cousin, Sir Herbert Ames and reminisces about Miss Mary Ames, Westmount, who lived to the age of 104. It was contained in an envelope which was inscribed "Mr. John Andreassen, Head of Archives McGill University" from "Miss Dorothy J. Ross". It has a printed return address sticker affixed.
