Bronze-winged jacana (Metopidius indicus)

Painting of a small bird with tan body, indigo head with white eye mark, purple on the back of neck, and red on the back, with very long, thin claws. Painted on a light tan wash background, no features. Inscription at bottom left: "Bronze-winged jacana (Metopidius indicus)."

Pheasant-tailed jacana (Hydrophasianus chirurgus)

Painting of a maroon coloured bird with long, black tipped tail feathers, with a white head and wings, and very long, thin claws. Painted on a light tan wash background, minimal shading and only a few light brushes of foliage. Inscription in bottom left reads, "Pheasant-tailed jacana (Hydrophasianus chirurgus)."
