The fonds consists of records created and accumulated in the course of film and television production activities. It provides an integrated and holistic view of executive, creative and operational areas at Muse and its affiliates. The material is particularly strong in documents relating to the legal, financing, and management aspects of the industry, revealing the behind the-scenes requirements for sustainable and commercially-successful production. This depth of administrative records provides a significant complement to the creative materials generally found in archival film holdings. The materials serve to illustrate the economic impact of cultural industries on communities, including business, labour, and suppliers, as well as talent. They also document the various government incentive programs from the perspective of theproducer.
While the focus in making the archival selection has been on executive and production records, the fonds also contains a broad sampling of technical, craft and creative activities. It includes examples of script development, casting, locations, wardrobe, continuity, shooting and production logistics, promotion, and distribution. Scripts for all Muse productions are included. From the perspective of content development, Muse productions have included numerous productions based or derived from real life stories, including Roch Thériault, Nancy Eaton, Jane Doe, Jerri Nielsen, Rudy Guiliani, and Victor Davis. There are also examples of productions related to musical performers the Monkees, and Ricky Nelson.
The fonds documents the work of numerous Canadian directors, including Anne Wheeler, Jerry Ciccoritti, Bruce McDonald, Gary Yates, Holly Dale, Christian Duguay, Roger Spottiswoode, Gary Burns, Sturla Gunnarsson, John L’Ecuyer, as well as international directors such as Darren Aronofsky.
The audio-visual materials cover completed, as-released and as-broadcast productions in professional formats (usually masters on Digital Beta) for domestic and international versions. Selected production materials have also been retained, particularly with a view to providing examples of production processes and creative decisions.
The audio-visual programs provide a strong archival record of successful prime-time television content produced by a Canadian company, and viewed both domestically and internationally.
The date range covers the establishment of Muse in 1998, including some legacy productions from Pebblehut, through to 2007.

Schulich School of Music Performance Archive
The collection consists of programs and recordings of ensemble performances (including opera) by students, faculty members, and guest artists associated with the Schulich School of Music at McGill University and performed at one of the School's halls (Pollack Hall, Redpath Hall, Tanna Schulich Hall, and Clara Lichtenstein Hall), as well as some performances at venues outside McGill.

McGill Group in Medical Genetics Oral Histories Collection
The McGill Group in Medical Genetics Oral Histories Collection documents the history of the McGill Group in Medical Genetics, active 1972 to 2009, through fourteen oral histories with the group's members. The Collection contains transcripts in English and in French translation of oral history interviews conducted with the members of the McGill Group in Medical Genetics between 2009 and 2011. The oral history interviews were held in the course of a larger project conducted by a group of researchers at McGill's School of Social Studies of Medicine to document the history of the group and its role in the development of the field of medical genetics in Canada more broadly. These researchers included Christopher Canning, Andrea Tone, George Weisz, and Alberto Cambrosio. The project received guidance from David Rosenblatt and funding from the Canada Research Chair Program in the Social History of Medicine. The fourteen interviews document the members' individual biographies and careers, as well as the history and development of the McGill Group in Medical Genetics during a transformative period in the field of medical genetics. The interviews are available as transcripts, created by Christopher Canning. French translations of the transcripts were also created by McGIll's Translation Services and are also made available. The fonds contains one prescription book of Dr. Robert Todd Reynolds, with some clippings of medical drawings in the back; 3 pages of the Reynolds' family genealogy record and one page of an article "The Ancestral Roof: Domestic Architecture in Upper Canada" and a photo of the house, indicating the relationship between James McGill des Rivières and the Reynolds family; 4 of R. T. Reynolds' Diplomas, one from McGill.

Collection includes the Minute Books of the Committee of Management of the Hospital, 1844-1926; a letter book, 1886-1896; Annual Reports 1887-1926; Medical Board Minutes, 1905-1918; Record of Pupil Nurses from R.V.H., 1908-1923; Annual Reports of the Auxiliary Board, Women's Pavillion, 1929-1943; Obstetrical and Gynaecological Report of the Royal Victoria Montreal Maternity Hospital, 1950-1960 and a copy of "Royal Victoria Montreal Maternity Hospital" by C.V. Barrett and J.R. Fraser, 1943.

Collection contains over 700 prints of portraits, mostly English physicians of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, but also pathological illustrations from the late 1860s to the mid-1920s. The collection includes papers, clippings and reprints associated with the portraits. The collection contains examples of various types of prints, including mezzotints, line, etchings, lithographs, and stipple. Approximately 56 of the finest mezzotints are framed and glazed. A large number of the prints are taken from such works as Pettigrew's Medical Portrait Gallery, Layland's Contemporary Medical Men, Kay's Edinburgh Portraits, and from the Gentleman's Magazine and the European Magazine. There are a number of early photographs of British medical men made by the London Stereoscopic Company. There are several bundles of portraits of foreign medical worthies, comprising quite a good representative collection of early prints. Many of these are taken from Sambucus' Icones (1603). The total number of foreign portraits is, however, quite small, and it seems obvious that the British portraits represent Mr. Evans's main interest. One bundle contains engravings of notorious quacks such as Valentine Greatrakes, Joshua Ward, and Chevalier Taylor. Apart from portraits, there are a few of the well-known subject prints. These include two or three of Teniers's pictures of barber-surgeons and quacks, a fine mezzotint of Rembrandt's Anatomy, the Siege of Warwick Lane, and some caricatures. There is also a set of the Vanity Fair cartoons of the 19th century medical men by "Spy" and "Ape", apparently complete and with accompanying biographical sketches.

Fonds consists of chiefly correspondence of or about Dr. John Clarence Webster, from 1892 to 1952. It also contains his medical thesis from 1891, "Tubo-pentoneal ectopic gestation. The anatomy of the pelvis during the puerperium, and the female pelvic floor,"with accompanying 2 bound volumes of watercolour plates.
