Letter from E. D. Worthington, Sherbrooke to Dr. Jean-Philippe Rottot, President of the College of Physicians and Surgeons. This is E.D.W.'s letter of resignation as one of the Governors of the College due to the President's conduct in the -Medical License Case' which involved himself and Dr. Fenwick. He accuses the President of urging on the prosecution; of granting irregular licenses and the misappropriation of college funds. Others mentioned include Dr. Russell. Dr. Marmett, Dr. Belleau. Handwritten.

Letter from E. D. Worthington, Sherbrooke to Lt. Col. Fletcher, Montreal. It describes the behaviour of the 53rd and 54th Battalions on their return from Montreal. E.D. Vi. reports that he heard Major Beaudry's name mentioned in a song in connection with a famed 'Sour Apple Tree', He noticed no orange emblems. No shots were fired from the train but shots and stones were thrown at them. Reference to Lt. Col. Ibbotson, and Lord Alymer. On the top of the first sheet the words "Re Orange Riot" have been written in red. Handwritten.

It is a reply to Worthington's letter in which he requests that Campbell look into the attack made on the train. Campbell declines as he feels this action might cause the men to claim damages. Col.
