The file contains correspondence, resolution drafts, and suggestions for Post-War planning by the Medical Education Rehabilitation Committee. This includes discussions to consider the educational problems of returned soldiers; suggestions for training discharged medical officers; a tentative draft of resolution; agendas for the Committee on the Interrupted Education of Ex-Service men; recommendations for post-war graduate training by G.R. Brow; and a questionnaire regarding refresher courses for returning medical officers, from the Chairman of the Sub-committee on Refresher Courses, Committee of Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine.

The file consists of memoranda, correspondence, reports, and suggestions for an Institute of Psychiatry at McGill University. This includes discussions on the creation of a department of Psychiatry; on teaching of psychiatry; a report on the practice of psychiatry in England; suggestions and lists of psychiatrists to populate the new department; and the CV and recommendations for Dr. Ewen Cameron as psychiatrist at McGill.

The file contains Wilder Penfield general correspondence arranged alphabetically and is primarily concerned with the Osler Library. It includes discussions on insurance, the reclassification or reorganization of the collections at Osler, the minutes of the curators of the library, committee reports, resignation letters, and commentary on changes occurring at the library.

The file contains two booklets, Maude E. Abbot’s ‘McGill’s Historic Past’ (inscribed copy, soft cover, 300 pages with illustrations, 12 October 1921) and Sir Arthur Currie’s ‘Six Years at McGill’ (soft cover, 49 pages with illustrations, October 1926).
