French paper pantins

Includes two sheets with pantins:

  1. A French mid-eighteenth century paper "pantin", or jumping-jack, of a male dancer. Uncut, hand-coloured engraving, 8 ½ inches across, 11 ½ inches high.
  2. Another o f the same type, of Pierrot. 9 ½ x 12 ½ inches.
