Includes newspaper clippings (regarding the founding of the society), lists of founding members, meeting notice template, a booklet of 1828 "Constitution and Bye-Laws (sic) with directions for preserving and forwarding objects of natural history", has committee minutes, council meeting minutes.
Short handwritten study on the similarities between the gaelic and latin languages that attempts to discover which is older and the source of the other, and to apply these findings to history. Includes a long list of latin words that the author argues are of gaelic origin. Given to the Natural History Society by Thomas Stratton, the author.
