The file consists of two gold-fringed red-and-tan flags used by the Dr. Gaspard Branch no. 50, the Canadian Legion B.E.S.L. See the Scope and Content note for file 02 for information about the branch. "B.E.S.L." refers to the Canadian Legion of the British Empire Services League, which later became the Royal Canadian Legion.
