The fourth relates to the contract for flour and mentions John Well(e)s who has just arrived with information that the Treaty of Trade & Commerce between Great Britain and the United States had been signed in London on Dec. 31st.

The second letter mentions that Mr. Shaw wants to know whether they will be needing one of the vessels belonging to the King's Posts to bring down the flour.
