McGill holiday postcard

This file contains a postcard with a black and white photo of the McGill lower campus, looking up the main drive towards the Arts Building, surrounded by a colour frame of holly and other decorative designs, and a ribbon that reads "Greetings."

Fonds consists of an album of chiefly scenic postcards. Roughly half depict the western regions of Canada and the United States, including: Los Angeles, Pasadena, and San Francisco, California; Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia; the Rockies; and Medicine Hat, Alberta. Other Canadian locations are represented including Ontario and Saskatchewan. European postcards make up roughly the second half of the postcards and are mostly from England, with some from Paris. A couple postcards feature cartoons or humourous scenes. One photographic postcard features kittens and there is one Christmas-themed postcard. Some of the postcards appear to have been sent between members of the Francis family of Headingley, Manitoba, including Lester Francis, Etta Francis, and Russel Francis.

McGill postcard with embroidered patch

This file contains a postcard with a small red and white McGill embroidered patch in the shape of a triangular flag flying from a pole affixed to it. The front of the postcard has pink text reading, "McGill, Montreal, If in these colors you believe, Then sew this emblem on your sleeve."

McGill lower campus postcard

This file contains a coloured postcard of the drive that runs through the McGill lower campus, facing the Arts Building. The Redpath Museum and the Macdonald Engineering Building are both visible.
