Fonds contains G.D. Gibb's manuscript medical case books. The fonds includes six volumes originally numbered 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, each of them with an index and Gibb's bookplate.
Fonds reflects Shirley Goodall's work as a medical illustrator on the service of various McGill physicians. The fonds consists chiefly of sketches in pencil on paper, medical illustrations mounted on board. Also includes reprints of journal articles where many of her illustrations were published.
Fonds shows Samuel Towle Brooks' activities as a medical student through his admission tickets for his complete medical formation. It contains 32 admission tickets and a blank printed form of "Affirmation of the Candidate for the Degrees of Doctor of Medicine and Surgery".
Fonds shows Samuel Hanford McKee's interest in war lesions of the eyes. It contains the original plates for his article "War Lesions of the Fundus" published in the American Journal of Ophthalmology, vol. 6, September 1923, and a series of 33 hand illustrated case histories of injuries of the eye during World War I. The illustrations are from E. Bind.
Fonds contains a typewritten report signed by Martin to the Secretary of the Medical Board, Montreal General Hospital, dated February 1, 1944, in which Martin judges the Tumor Clinic at the MGH to be “Far below the standard set for similar clinics in American hospitals;” also includes envelope with address of Dr. Fraser B. Gurd.
Fonds contains five notebook kept by medical student S. J. Bennett while studying at McGill University's Faculty of Medicine. Each notebook is devoted to a subject of study, including one notebook each labelled "Medicine", "Bacteriology" and "Obstetrics" and two notebooks labelled "Pathology." The notes inside are dated between 1907 and 1908. The notes are organized in some cases by instructor and in some cases according to medical conditions.

Barrett and J.R. Fraser, 1943.
The fonds contains Roderick Stewart's research work and writing for his biography of Dr. Norman Bethune published as Bethune (1973) and The Mind of Norman Bethune (1977).

The fonds contains one prescription book of Dr. Robert Todd Reynolds, with some clippings of medical drawings in the back; 3 pages of the Reynolds' family genealogy record and one page of an article "The Ancestral Roof: Domestic Architecture in Upper Canada" and a photo of the house, indicating the relationship between James McGill des Rivières and the Reynolds family; 4 of R. T. Reynolds' Diplomas, one from McGill.
