This item is a green tin for "McGill Mixture" tobacco with decorations and image on the top of people playing rugby or football on the green in front of the McGill arts building and Redpath Museum. The tobacco was manufactured by A.E. Morris, successor to Nathan Michaels. Note on back of tin reads: "Notice! The Manufacturer of the Tobacco has complied with all requirements of Law. Every person is cautioned under penalties of Law not to use this package for Tobacco again."
This item is a discus throw medal with a red and cream ribbon. The medal is in three parts, connected by decorative chains, one that reads "Discus throw," one shaped into 1903, one bearing a shield with three martlets, topped by a crown, with text "McGill U.A.A." and surrounded by a cross. Probably won by W.P. Ogilvie.
This item is a gold McGill pin, possibly a lapel pin or a tie pin, in the shape of the caduceus (two snakes wound around a staff), surrounded by a shield made up of 18 decorative gemstones with "08" and a ribbon below it that reads: "McGill Medical Faculty Dinner."
This item is a McGill medal commemorating the tercentenary of William Shakespeare's birth. One side of the medal has a an image of Shakespeare in profile with the words "Shakspere [sic], 1564-1616." The other side bears a McGill coat of arms and "Shakspere [sic] Tercentenary, 1864, for English literature" inside a decorative cross, with "McGill College, Montreal" in a ring around the edge of the medal.
