Letter to Charlotte (Chattie) Osler (Mrs. Charles Gwyn) from William Osler, 44, Louisen Street North, Berlin, Germany. Osler will leave Berlin for Vienna at the end of the month. He remarks that he will soon be 25 years old and is still not on his own legs yet. He writes of his friend Mackenzie. Osler attended a series of nine concerts in the Royal Concert room of the Opera house with his friend, Dr. Gutterböck. He writes of some Church services he attended and asks after Johnson.

Letter to Robert Palmer Howard from William Osler. Osler responds to Howard's offer to take up a lectureship in Physiology at McGill. He is glad it is only a lectureship, as he is still so young.
