Fonds consists of manuscript of "Kedem, or the Garden of Eden, by Symkabeta", 1869. The manuscript includes an article on Mountain worship by W. Simpson and critical letters from Thomas Scott, 1869.
These papers consist of Sheppard's letters to his sister, Margaret, in England, 1841-1861, and a few incoming letters from family and friends including one from his son William about the Prince of Wales' visit in 1860.
Collection contains a "Charterparty of Affreightment" signed on 14 September 1778 between Hugh Wylee, captain of the ship Dalling, and William Shaw and Simon Fraser, merchants of Quebec City. The contract contains the terms under which Shaw and Fraser hired Wylee and his ship and crew for a commercial journey from Quebec City to the Bay of Chaleure in Gaspey (now Gaspé), and from there to Kingston, Jamaica. In exchange for carrying and unloading Shaw and Fraser's cargo, Wylee received 800 pounds and a portion of the profits from the sale of the goods.
The fonds consists of a biographical scrapbook of Presbyterian Minister Reverend William S. Sutherland "Strathnaver," Merrickville, Ontario. Included in this brochure are selected sketches which William Sutherland did, and selected issues of publications which were edited and/or published by him through the years. There are various photographs included.
Includes note-books of extensive medical and dental school notes of lectures and readings that Huber transcribed while attending the University of Pennsylvania ca. 1884-1888. Also included: receipts and billing slips, ca. 1892-1903 from Huber's practice; published items such as the catalogue to the University of Pennsylvania, ca. 1885-86; miscellaneous items, including a public address in Huber's handwriting.
