Fonds contains forty-three letters to Casey A. Wood from Howland Wood describing the Gampala Larin hoard and the finding coins in Ceylon, 1929-1934.

Fonds consists of a printed copy of Babbage's autobiographical Passages from the Life of a Philosopher (1864) interleaved with his letters, 1804-1847, from contemporary scientists, including John Dalton, Michael Faraday, Hans Christian Oersted, Sir George Biddell Airy, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Sir Richard Owen, and H. F. Talbot.

The fonds reflects Agnes Honoria Wrong's career as a columnist and mainly consists of scrapbooks containing food columns published in different Canadian newspapers chiefly under the pen name Janet March. Janet March's real name was Agnes Honoria Armstrong Wrong, and she wrote under many pen names. The earliest columns (1931-1933) are signed "Suzette" and were published in the Saturday Night Magazine (Toronto) Some other food-related columns published in the Junior League Magazine (1933-1935) are signed "Epicure". Later columns in the Saturday Night Magazine (1939-1946) are ordered more or less by year in specific scrapbooks. Articles about history of food, as well as recipe columns, were published monthly in the Globe & Mail (1956-1962), some of them under her real name. Part of the material is loose in envelopes or within already filled scrapbooks, including pre-publication typed articles. Also are included a few letters addressed to the creator (reader's mail).

The fonds contains professional and private correspondence from Emma Albani, the first Canadian-born singer of international fame, to Parisian publisher Henri Heugel.

Fonds consists of an album of chiefly scenic postcards. Roughly half depict the western regions of Canada and the United States, including: Los Angeles, Pasadena, and San Francisco, California; Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia; the Rockies; and Medicine Hat, Alberta. Other Canadian locations are represented including Ontario and Saskatchewan. European postcards make up roughly the second half of the postcards and are mostly from England, with some from Paris. A couple postcards feature cartoons or humourous scenes. One photographic postcard features kittens and there is one Christmas-themed postcard. Some of the postcards appear to have been sent between members of the Francis family of Headingley, Manitoba, including Lester Francis, Etta Francis, and Russel Francis.

Fonds consists of a typescript of "An archaeological expedition to the ruins of Southern Tunisia and the Sahara," 1924. This work includes articles by Louise de Forest Shelton, Arnold M. Duff, and Byron de Prorok.
