Copy of 1807 marriage contract, 24 January 1818

Copy of a marriage contract between Charlotte Morrison and John Hall originally signed on 14 February 1807. The contract includes details of their chosen matrimonial regime (no community of property) and the sum of money to be inherited by the surviving spouse should one of them die first. Signed by John Hall, Charlotte Morrison, Jacob Hall, and James Morrison. Originally notarized by Jonathan Abraham Gray and Thomas Barron, with the certified copy made by Reid, Levesque & Monk on 24 January 1818.
