Part of William Feindel fonds
This series consists of materials related to William Feindel’s research and writing on various topics. Several records document Feindel’s research on neurological topics such as on the brain and mind, the amygdale, and red veins. Moreover, records demonstrate Feindel’s research interests in the history of medicine, and the work of William Osler, Wilder Penfield, and Thomas Willis. The series also reflects the work Feindel did on the history of the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI) and various conferences and workshops held at the MNI in which he participated. Also included are documents related to Feindel’s appointments to professional associations and an entire sub series consisting of correspondence on an assortment of research topics.
