File consists of 6 newspapers and clippings, including: a cutting from La Patrie, 30 December 1888 (In Memoriam, a biographical sketch of T. S. Brown, by L. J. A. Papineau); The News, St. Augustine, 11 May 1844; The News, St. Augustine, 26 February 1841; Canada First, vol. 1, no. 7, Montreal, 28 January 1882; Canada First, vol. 1, no. 5, Montreal, 14 January 1881; and the Montreal Daily Star, 27 December 1888.

File consists of four copies of T. S. Brown's coat of arms, three blank cheques on Banque du Peuple, a programme of entertainments in Victoria Rink for the 1886-1887 season, a sale catalogue of T. S. Brown's household furniture, 20 April 1875 (with original and duplicate), and a genealogy of Hughes of Gwerclas.

File contains Brown's correspondence, consisting of 22 letters chiefly received by Brown. Also includes some outgoing correspondence from Brown. A number of letters dsicuss the Florida elections (1842) as well as negotations with Indigenous nations in the West (1841). The majority of letters date from between 1839 and 1843.
